This Tasty Pot is easily the best one around, no contest. I’ve eaten at the San Francisco, Livermore, and Sacramento locations, and this Stockton spot is in a whole different league. It’s always busy, but the wait is totally worth it. The hot pot broth is rich and flavorful (no watery, bland soup here!), the meat and veggies are fresh, and even the side dishes hit different compared to other locations. The staff keeps things running smoothly even when it’s packed, and the condiment bar is always clean and fully stocked. I used to drive to other cities for good hot pot, but now I’ll only be coming here. If you’re in the area, don’t sleep on this place—it’s the real deal.

I come here often with my family and usually enjoy the food, but I had a very disappointing experience today. There was no garlic available at the sauce bar, so I politely asked the waitress, Fong, if I could get some. Her response was to tell me, “Don’t waste it,” and that customers always waste it. I was honestly shocked to hear that from a staff member. As a paying customer, I come here to enjoy my meal, and comments like that feel unnecessary and offensive. I’m spending my money on food I want to eat, and I shouldn’t feel judged for asking for something that is normally provided. Because of this interaction, it makes me reconsider coming back. I hope management addresses this so other customers don’t have a similar experience.

I’ve been a regular at this TastyPot location for over a year after moving out from Bay Area , mostly visiting once a week, and it’s consistently outstanding. The food is always delicious, with rich flavors that never disappoint. The service is top-notch, with a friendly and attentive staff that makes every visit enjoyable. Even when taking out, the quality remains superb. Highly recommended!

Been here a few times before. The menu is a QR code scan which is placed at every table. This makes viewing the menu a breeze in my own experience and opinion because you order whenever you are ready and don't have to wait for a waiter. The food selection is great. Pick your dish and customize it to your taste buds based on spice level, comes with free rice and a few extra add ons if you desire. Of course you can add sides or additional meats or vegetable selections. Overall, a must GO!!! If you never experienced hot pot where the soups gets served to you on a boiling tray (pot), then give this place a try.

First time having hot pot. Good selections and friendly service. Very tasty broth. I would say 3-1/2 stars. Although you can select add-ins, you cannot totally customize your bowl. Many combinations are offered , however. Good experience
